About

As a design leader with a background in both sociology and design, I have been able to move fluidly between various sectors, providing strategic human-centered insight, creative direction and design solutions that produce results.

Specialties include:
• Creative direction, strategic user-centered perspective, brand management and client development.
• Supporting, mentoring and managing teams throughout vision, collaboration and execution of all deliverables.
• Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
• Experience working across consumer, business, global and internal audiences.
• Attention to detail, from high level views down to the nitty gritty.
• Managing all the moving parts and keeping teams on track to reach milestones.

My experience includes UX, branding, visual design, packaging and interactive design for clients such as The North Face, Levi's, Salesforce, The Marine Mammal Center, the de Young Museum, Microsoft, Genentech and more.

For six years, I served on the AIGA San Francisco board of directors. With my in-depth knowledge of design for social good, I co-created the organization’s Social Impact chair and cause/affect, the graphic design competition for do-gooders. I then went on to serve as vice president and president of the chapter, overseeing the 20-person board and Executive Director, $250k+ budget, 50+ sponsors and over 50 events a year.
